RDB54 Combat Barrier System

The Fromm RDB54 Combat Barrier System (RDB54) is the only combat barrier system in the world that can be deployed and reloaded by individual members of a tactical unit, male or female. Neither cranes nor heavy equipment are required for deployment.

In an urban warfare scenario, the Fromm RDB54 barrier system has unlimited capabilities. The system gives the tactical commander the ability to seal off escape routs, protect assets from vehicle bombs and provide personnel on the ground additional armor/RPG protection from attack.

The special design of the breastplate gives the barrier the capability of stopping AK 47 armor piercing rounds. The RDB54 is also available with an RPG cage mounted to the front of the barrier, adding an additional 65 pounds.

The RDB54 can be combined to any desired length in seconds, giving the commander on the ground an anti-vehicle barrier designed to stop a 5,000 pound vehicle traveling 30 miles per hour.

The RDB 54 System is trailer mounted or can be slung under a helicopter, giving the first responders immediate force and facility protection. The Fromm Barrier System is mobile and rapidly deployable, providing the tactical commander the ability to react to threats in his area of responsibility quicker and more effectively.
